after the first 4 nights of staying in the hall, i'm back at home again!~
my roomie is nice, and we can clique, so all is well and fine, though i couldn't sleep at all on the first night.. i miss home, more importantly, i miss my MTV ASIA!! i'm deprived of that in hall!! =x so i'm just glued to my tv (with mtv asia on) right now manz.. lol.

today, saw yanru & her Modern Jazz peeps do some awesome dance moves, SUPER cool manz!! makes me REALLY wanna be in the club, though i'm not too cool! lol. yanru looks SUPER cool when dancing!! though her fringe keeps dropping and covering her cute face.. haha.

only had 2 modules' lectures so far.. but starting to feel the stress already, MSUt enjoy this first week.. which is going to end soon.........

i'm in school now, super bored. actually coming to sch in the first week is so boliao! don't even do anything much. but shh. don't say i said this later i'll get in trouble. my french class had 4 pple again see haha i'm guai right! i realised there are a lot of pple in cs that i don't know! so interesting huh. where is the audio lab... hmm.

i'm still sick. n i need to go to the toilet but no one is here to look after my laptop. boohoo. i'm SUPER errr. hahaah. too gross.

oh yes i remember what this post is for. does anyone want textbooks? i got 2 sets of the 102/103 batch n 1 of the 104/105 one. yup. n melvin u didn't call my friend! he's waiting for ur msg or something!

did anyone go to lish's stall? she made like super nice earrings n skirts (which are all SO SMALL!!!!!!!!!! or isit i'm TOO BIG) n hand drawn shoes. super nice la if u all never see then miss out man. i wanted to buy earrings but meddy took them to i dunno where so poor me is alone here without my earrings eating sandwich. awwwwww. hehe.

extremely sleepy now. we only got to sleep at 430am this morning. yikes. luckily my room mate and i have no lectures today. phew.

it went quite smoothly yesterday. other than the fact that catwalk is still not my thing. haha. it made me so concious of my walk. sheesh. jacq hope ya walk will be great yea. it was an eye opener yesterday. saw people getting drunk, getting on a high. i didnt chiong at all previously till i entered hall. haha. talk about change. but i guess it can be quite fun if u do go with a great bunch of frends. atlanta when's the next? lolx. saw urchin n yanru n kaixin n kaile who was the emcee for the preview. think last night can be considered new memories for me. haha.

as i was on the bus back las night, i suddenly felt so thankful for these new bunch of frends that i've made. glad you guys are part of them.

 

first day of lectures...

today is d first day of lectures!! jac, peiting, char, dith, nat, joan, keat n me are in d same lecture grp... den today we like lost sheeps... but i think not bad la... we found our way around quite well, i think...agree? :) lolx... anyway i felt d lecture grp is so small compared to jc!! cannot sms or do anything, so obvious to d lecturer...sigh... but luckily, in my opinion, d lectures were not as boring as i expected! or maybe 2 yrs nv go sch liao, so everything is like so new, so interesting to me... haha... but feel abit stress... cos army made me stupid, now must de-rust my brain again... looks like there'll be lotsa assignments, presentations to do all d time...sobz... relaxed too much in my 2 yrs in ns liao.... u all must help me k? some more 16 yr old brain only, alot of things still dunno...

anyways, wonder hows d other lecture grp doing?? urchin, cheryl, shuyi, linhui, marianne n all... nv see u all today... oh, at least we had dinner at j.point today... cos our "mama" cannot join us for ktv tmr... hmm, hope yanru dun be so stressed k? remember we're always around for u... and keat will always give u sweets everytime he see u... oh ya, we were with keat the WHOLE DAY and he nv gave us any sweets... but when he saw yanru, gave her 2 sticks of Mentos sweets....!!! hmph!! : )

well, jac got photoshoot for her pageant tmr... and shuyi got her preview at zouk tmr nite... : ) Atlanta will always support u!!! jia you!! and hopefully, will see d rest at ktv tmr... both char n i think urhin will hog the mic tmr....haha....let's see.....lolx : )

and i survived

hey peepz. i am back. extremely drained as what daniel had predicted. i need to sleep later. as usual we didnt get to sleep on the last night. initiation for hall6 where they put us through games and quests, making us officially a sixian. camp was a very tiring and dirty one. rolling in mud, walking in drains, eggs, flour, until can bake cake. yuck. amazing race was bloody tiring. i nearly died from stitches and am still suffering from them now whenever i walk fast. argh. so different i must say. cs camp was filled with warmth while somehow i feel that this hall camp winning seemed quite important. frequently pushed. i prefer to nua. haha. i'm lazy. i cant help that. some cheers we had overlapped with what i learnt at cs. like the titanic and banana song. nostalgia. i think we sing with more energy. haha. we also had fright night, but it wasnt caleld fright night. it also involved some detective work. i must say though, that one station was extremely scary. sadakos crawling towards you in the dark corridor. freak out.

had secret pal night and senior junior date. quite fun. went boom boom room for senior junior date.

laser quest on friday. my first time.

there's this station game we had in east coast. involving the washin of our hair right in the sea. liek yuck. but it was intresting. haha.

our performance was not as fun as atlanta's man. sigh. miss you guys.i dont know is it my mindset or what. but sometimes i didnt exactly enjoy my og's company at hall camp. but one plus point was there are more guys. haha. but my grp dont have any good looking ones la. lolx.

and i'm down for the pageant. ARGH. think its freaky. probably trip and fall or tear my clothes or overexpose or ......argh argh argh.

in lecture grp 2 taking 101 104 105 107 111. tut grp 2. so i'll see you charlene. atlanta! one question, when's the best time to take a minor?

heyheyhey!! *sexy low voice* im back fr hall 12 camp!! woohooo! wah din log in for one wk n alreadi so many postings to catch up wif...*yawnz* kinda veri tired aft the camp...at first it was kinda boring n sian coz my grp ppl weren't as onz as u guys...but it got better aft awhile...tho i stil tink cs foc atlanta is stil the best! my grp had all the eng n acc ppl *bleahz* lucky they were nice ppl too...i got to b the cheer ic (tt's how i got my sexy voice) n guess wat? i got best freshie for my grp...n picked for the pageant thingy....means tt ill haf less time to spend wif u guys =( but tts ok...at least stil can c u guys in lectures n stuf...n for those ppl staying in hall...supper n mambo!!!~ *dances arnd madly* hehez my timetable like totally sucks lah...i got CS 101, 102, 103, 106, 108 n in tut grp 3...mon got lect all the way fr 9am til 2pm like many of u, end at 6 n 630 on tue n fri, 1030 on wed n 4 on fri...got the 6hr break on fri...*BOOOOOOO!* no 4 dae wk!! =( *sad* so looking fwd to meeting everyone again on mon! if not, tues for the canteen walk! *yawnz* v tired...been out the whole dae...okies gonna slp now...hope i can break my record of 15 hrs of slp...seeya soon u guys n gals n keep each other updated abt ourselves!~

hey guys.. i'm back in action.. act not really lah.. now still in my hall 7 camp but got a few hours break in btw so use the hall coms to post..
 
i'm really super shagged from the camp man.. did amazing race around s'pore so we ran n ran.. yes we act ran.. then we had amazing race in sentosa also n we ran again.. my legs going to break now.. think i prob lost like 2kgs from all the running.. but oh well it was loads of fun.. funny thing this time.. my og has 10 guys n 3 gals.. total opp of atlanta.. haha.. so the guys were complaining why so little gals.. n the guys in my group avg ht like 1.8m one.. all damn tall.. n they are act not too bad looking.. *grinz* but all i very stress in hall 7 cos it's like a sports hall lah.. everyone keep asking 'so wat sports do u do?' n all i can say is 'oh i'm not a sporty person'... sigh.. sad fact of the day..
 
anywayz i think i'm in urchin's group loh.. doing 104 105 107 n 111.. seems like most of u all in the other grp.. sobz.. means we can't get to each other so often liaoz.. anyway i'm in tut grp 3.. urchin how abt u? mine also a 5 day week.. was hoping for a 4 day one.. but at least think my timetable not say very packed..

my bangkok trip... another long & boring post from me.

Hey everyone!!!!! Sawadee kaa!! I’m finally back from Bangkok, came home with sore throat n fever I think cos I ate too many heaty things. Arghhhhhh. Anyway it was like damn fun over there!!!

The first few days had talks n stuff so not so fun the UN building is like damn gigantic n a lot of empty space I dunno for what. The talks like very irrelevant leh cos they’re supposed to talk about UN’s role in the region instead they talked mostly about each UN agency n what they do.

Went to shop in mbk n suan lum night market, really got a lot of nonsense to buy, but I realized I didn’t buy a lot of things. I got like tons of food though. Hahaha. I looked like some auntie carrying the huge plastic bag of food around lor.

Yesterday we traveled 3 hours by bus to this small village in a place called Uthaitani province to see some field project that the UN is doing. The kids are so so so cute, whenever u hold up a camera they’ll call all their friends n pose for the picture. They learn super practical stuff, not like us! Useless things like maths n crap. Anyway after that we went for thai massage, wah damn ticklish!!!!!! I kept giggling n making weird noises cos cannot tahan!!!!! Then apparently the guys kena assaulted by the masseuse..

Today went for city tour, to this super nice temple that King Thaksin used last time, the carvings are so intricate n there are so many parts to the temple! We also went on the chao phraya river boat ride n kena splashed with river water by the fish, but its supposed to be good luck. Other than that the city tour kinda boring, went to some touristy places so it was quite sian.

Anyway the trip overall was good, except now feeling lousy so am gonna go sleep soon. I wanna go to Bangkok again!!!!!!! I wanna go massage!!!!!!! My bum has a bruise cos I knocked it against the bus seat armrest!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe holidays are ending!!!!!!!!!! I miss everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meeeh...timetable. @_@

Finally managed to matriculate after a rather pointless trip all the way to school! It turned out I could've done it at home with no problems, only I was stumped over the "PIN number expired" bit and the bit that requires you to enter a new PIN. I thought the new PIN was assigned to you and I didn't have it! So eventually all I did in the centre for IT services was use their monitor and have the tech guy just tell me exactly what to do where. But I didn't have the heart to tell my mum that it was a useless trip, because afterall she sent me all the way there, got stuck in jams and got lost in the process; I doubt she'd be very happy to hear that.

Anyway I got my timetable, and it's pretty natty...I'm always in Tutorial group 5, and I've got 6.30 days on Mon and Fri (lucky people who have Friday free!!! *envy*), and most days I end by like, 3 or 4.30. No early days whatsover, but lots of big silly breaks. Maaan...so will those with an icky timetable this time round look forward to a promise of a better one next quarter? I hope so! I would like a day off too! *sad eyes* Wouldn't yooooou? *sadder eyes*

I watched Mean Girls yesterday! I can't compare it with other films in the genre cuz I normally don't go for Chick Flicks...I only went for this one because of 1. Linsay Lohan and 2. The fact that Saturday Night Live's Tina Fey directed/scripted (can't remember which) it. And for those two reasons that film was pretty damn good. Likeable, surprisingly intelligent and the guy who acted as Aaron looked so much like Ashton Kutcher and he was SOOOOO CUTE!!!! With the curly dark hair and the large dark eyes and the earnest eyebrows...*gets little funny stars in her eyes* Ahem, got a little carried away there. :P

hey guys..
i just came home.. went for the QET this morning.. eh i saw that 'merlion' guy from our CS camp also.. so it was 2 topics to choose from and to write a 250-300words essay.. so i chose the 'downloading free music' topic and just wrote some crap about it, i hope i'll pass the test though!! *fingers crossed*

went to my room to do some stuff, and very shocked to see that my roomie has NOT moved in yet! OMG, it's like, when will she really plan to move in?? don't tell me she'll only move her stuff in on Sunday?? so the room is still rather empty now.. sigh.. i can't wait to meet her, but she's still not around..

so our timetables.. hmmm urchin so jialat sia, so many different modules from us.. about the no lunch break thingy, i have that for my tues schedule as well. . geez. . we're gonna be soooo hungry...

feel so 'blur' about everything still, like about the GEs, how many are we supposed to take?? and also for the first week of school, so are there lessons on the first day of school? supposedly cancelled for the freshmen welcome ceremony thingy right?? also, on tuesday, with the heritage walk, will our lessons be cancelled on that day as well? i only know for sure that wednesday (flag day) there'll be no lessons.. so first week no tutorials eh? that means my friday will be free.. i also envy those with 4-day week only manz.. so lucky. so who's with me in Tutorial group 5 or 2??

i finally got my timetable and matriculated! hmm, so impatient, tried at midnight but they kept denying my access even till 1.30am.. cannot make it.. =( at least the computer account thingy was on the dot :D anyway i got my timetable liao.. monday is damn hectic and tiring and it slowly tapers down (this sounds like *ahem* ^^;) argh... really won't be used to it..
 
anyway i'm taking modules 101 102 103 106 and 108 and i'm in tutorial group T1.. who's with me? i dunno how to get from LT4 to LT11 ;_; i'll totally be like a lost lamb.. m3h.
anyway GE registering doesn't start until 26th i think.. advisable to take japanese or not? o.0;
 
ehh keat wei.. we'll all miss ya if you do decide to go to medicine.. but ah.. best of luck k! if you really wanna do medicine, then go all out for it ya? =) (hmm, next time want free consultation look for him XD)

Hall Camp

Yo guys, my hall camp just started, & Shuyi is in my OG, Feugo ... However this time I am not the OGL, I am a senior attached ... Other CS ppl that came for the hall camp includes the girls from Olympia: Xiaohan, Sok Kuan & Shi Ting ... Well we have this senior junior date on one of the day of FOC, and Shi Ting is my junior date. Sok Kuan is with my room mate, while Shuyi's date is still pending ... Hmm, saw Keat Wei in hall but he din wan to join the camp cos he says no $$$ ... Saw him with a girl, hmm tell us who is it leh ... Hee hee
 
MY camp will be ending this sunday morning, Shuyi shld be super shagged by then, I will still be quite okay ... How about for the other ATLANTIANS? When will ur hall camps end? Maybe someone can just arrange & we c how bah ... Use the blog to spread the news man !

Today's very tiring.. went to my room early in the morn to clean up.. vacumned n scrubbed all the wat till abt 5 b4 it's finally done.. hall 7 furnishing really cannot make it liao.. the bed planks coming out leh.. n guess i'm one of those few who hasn't gone for hall camp yet.. suppose to start officially tml but today have to go for wat prep session so i went down for a while.. this time my og is guy strength man.. so used to seeing many gals n guys in minority liao suddenly my og became like 8 guys 3 gals.. very bu4 xi2 guan4.. haha.. and ah why do ppl like the pirate's theme so much? we had to do a banner with a pirate's theme cos my og(morgan) is supposed to be pirate? aiyo i also blur blur lah...

anyway i was trying to matriculate juz now but they denied my access.. why?? tot supposed to be able to matriculate from 20 july.. it's 20 july already wat... wat's their prob?? i wanna knoe my time table!! shall try again after i finish wif this..

meanwhile all those in camp.. haf fun!! i'll be going camp tml liao too so cya guys on sun maybe? update me on any upcoming outings ok.....

Disappearing Act

Hey guys, just to let you peeps know that I'm leaving S'pore this Thursday evening, and coming back hopefully by Saturday morning. You guys are free to come and send me off!! Hehe. Kidding la, I'm going by bus, so not very glam. Still...
 
I'm just taking a short trip back for my medicine interview on Friday. I think I've told some of you before that I'm a medicine reject, and I'm trying my luck back in M'sia. So if I'm successful I'll be leaving CS lor. But that's like still a month away, so I don't wanna think about it yet, and let's not talk about it yar? Haha.
 
In the mean time, you guys better have loads of outings and fun while we still can!! Yanru! This week supposed to have one more right? I propose an outing on Sunday, just before school starts. So we can see everyone one more time before we officially become freshmen, make more new friends, and have other attachments.
 
Sunday evening, so most people will be packed in by then, if they are putting up in the hall. Suggestions anyone? With regard to location and time that is. Hope everyone can make it this time ya...

Stuck at Home.... argghh

yeah u must be really surprised to see this post from me.. i am so not going to the hall camp! *cries*

i'm stuck at home.. 'cos my sore throat and cough has worsened, plus a lil' fever, so my parents forbidded me to go anywhere.. (plus my foot problem too). arghhh. so sad! i really wanna go to the camp and know more people.. i'm just afraid i'll feel so left out in the hall if i don't attend the camp.. but oh well.. blame it on myself i guess?? for not taking care of myself..

ok the cough mixture is making me really drowsy.. need to go sleep..

hey all, just want to tell u that u guys have been great. cos i'm now going through some bad stuff, was really depressed until i went to camp n all the og outings. n suddenly i had so much more to think about n so many more people to love. hehe. pity the hols have to come to an end, we can't meet so often n for so long. oh i'm just feeling emotional now =) well take care everyone i'll see u all when sch starts.

Haha yesterday's outing was superb but realised i hv not seen many of u ppl also since i missed the previous outing..nvm hope more ppl will turn up for the canteen hop(haha help our ah pa xuan chuan..)den will be able to hv the atlanta spirit up again as we bombard the canteen...haha~  Yap back to the outing yest..there were no neoprints taken lorz...lolx..i can be the witness..Hahah.  So so so glad the bikes were so cheap(cos i m seriously broke...jia lat) cant believe it man..it was great to cycle though my butt hurt alot..cant forget the "salesman" who kept pestering us n even insist tt elise is a foreigner..hee.but glad we managed to bai tuo ta. N def not to forget yanru's darling maxboy,who kept shifting in the basket making yanru so unbalanced..haha n melvin's screams of "jump max!"..haha yanru was so worried lor.. But guess max wont listen to melvin one..he onli listens to keat wei..haha our atlanta's gayish scandal..
 
Our next bowling tournament among seniors n freshies was interesting too..haha though i did not play but it was great to see u guys bowl.. Wow must peifu charlene's "shen qi qiu", i was so amazed man! The ball jus slide along e drain den detoured n hit the pins lor! Gosh n it happened so many times...Got chance everyone must see it!!tot my eyes were playing tricks.. ya n our elise broke her 19 record too with a beautiful strike! Guess our atlanta ppl really "shen cang bu lou".. deep sia..
 
sigh but i had to go early, so could not report on the dinner part.. nevertheless i enjoyed everything!

pig's foot

hello everyone!

Geez last night reached home and was soo tired i just fell flat on my bed manz..

this morning woke up only to get scolded by my parents for not knowing how to take care of myself.. 'cos my foot is very swollen (old injury, from the CS camp which i tot only my toe was hurt, but probz worsended from the walk yesterday) and i'm having sore throat... ><

well let's talk about yesterday first.. it was an awesome outing once again, though i felt quite bad that 'cos i don't know how to blade/cycle, the rest could not really cycle/blade to their hearts' content.. So Sowweee.. nevertheless, i wanna thank Elise sweetie for accompanying me along the way for most of the time, and also yanru and keat wei. for accompanying this poor person who was limping on the pathway, and along the way still got scolded by some $!*&$@$&#*&$ who said i was blocking the way! NVM those a**h****. we had GREAT FOOD at NYDC after a super looong waiting time, i can't believe i finished the whole baked rice, and after which still can share dessert with Elise.. haha.. but that was NICE dessert manz. yummyz. can't wait for the next outing!

and SO, i just came home.. my dad brought me to those traditional chinese "Sinseh", to tui1 na2 my foot. 'cos it is swollen and kinda painful, so now my foot is all bandaged up like dumpling, and hence the title "Pig's foot", (which was mentioned by my unsympathetic sister once she saw my foot). the guy said i should rest my foot for the next 3 to 4 days.... that means i can't go for hall camp!??!!? but i wanna go!! i don't care!! guess i can't join the games then... *SIGH* why am i so suay? always something crops up whenever there's a camp and i can't enjoy to the fullest.. Darn.

gotta go, sorry for ranting. i need to move some stuff into my room laterz. though i'm not sure if i can carry the stuff and walk up the steps with my swollen foot. guess my dad will do all the work then..

The Reunion (Impt!!!)

• After having seen all his kids mature into pirates, Ah-Pa had to go off on an important mission to the far-away lands of Hong Kong and Thailand. Sad and unwilling as he was, he had to part with them temporarily. During his absence, his kids often gathered by the Atlanta sea (ECP), hoping that Ah-Pawould come back soon. He is FINALLY back, and he hopes that his kids can all gather in the land of CS, to have a feast before they go off into their individual journeys for their quest for knowledge.
   
  Alamak, quite jialat hor ... my story-telling... haha anyway I wan to organise a lunch outing for u guys, so please make yourself free on the following date.
   
  Date: 27 July (Heritage Walk)
  Location: Canteen 3 (Meet 1045am at CS benches, then we all walk there together)
  Purpose: Eat lunch, zhu chao ....
  Catch: hv a little something for u peeps ...
  Who: All atlanta children plus the following seniors
• Elise, Licia, Kerri, Maxie, Kaixin (who else did I leave out? Pls help me with this: Anyone else u guys wanna call?)
• Might have to skip some lessons (Better not lah)
• Bring ard 7-10 bucks ... heh ...

Interesting things I encountered overseas

The most memorable thing was being at this hotel in Macau. There was this particular floor, which I called it the "mini Geylang" where girls from mainland were prancing about the floor, looking for potential targets. They just walk round and round the floor, and if they spot any lonely guy, young or old, they will approach and ask "要不要去房间?" My mum told me to walk away from her and test water, indeed I was approached by 2 girls in no less than a minute after I was alone. Of course I declined the offer lah ... Haha!
 
2nd thing will be the typhoon. I happened to miss the last ferry to Hong Kong and I had to wait until the next day morning before I could get back to Hong Kong. Luckily the typhoon subsided, otherwise I could still be stuck in Hong Kong, which of course, I would not mind. Down there, as the advertisements claimed, it is really "买东西,吃东西 ... 买东西,吃东西" My dad likes to eat good food, so after having filled our stomachs, we will go shopping. Well, for those who dunno, there are 2 main so-called-pasar-malams, woman street & man street.. Every time I walk through, I am bound to find new things .. Of course, I was thinking about what I can get for you guys lor, haha ... Finally I saw something that might suit us ..
 
Yah Charlene, the mango pudding from 许留山 is a bit sour for my liking. Instead I will strongly recommend 炖奶..very nice, something that u never get to eat in Singapore ...
 
While I was in Hongkong, I stayed in this Stanford Hotel .. It was AWESOME .. cos it was near the 2 main pasar malams, and I always walked until the early hours before I finally cared to get some sleep. BAsically if u guys planning to go Hong Kong, the woman street is located at Mongkok, while man street is located near 油麻地 mrt station ... must visit lor ...
 
For elise who is going to thailand, I din really buy much stuff there, but i bought this set of lights for ard 300 baht to decorate my room.. quite unique, cun find in s'pore i think, u shld check it out ... can take a lot of photos there cos a lot of monuments. Clothes there are cheap but must know how to bargain, which if u dun speak a word of Thai, quite hard sometimes ... Must try the TOM YAM soup, their specialty ... and fried squids!

1. remember what time i set my alarm so i don't keep pressing snooze n ending up being late to pick people ie yan, shu n char, n making kw wait so poor thing at parkway parade
2. how to get to and from east coast park without the aid of a street directory but with the help of the many people in the car actually the only person who knew how to go was miss vjc the owner of xu mai si maximillian
3. do not touch max suddenly if not i'll get bitten like melvin n my hand will bleed n i'll need to put plaster
4. do not try to teach people to rollerblade or turn around because when i do i will fall down
5. ignore salespeople who look at me incredulously and say "YOU SPEAK CHINESE?!?!".. just i-g-n-o-r-e
6. ignore strange guys who cycle past n shout "HI GD AFTERNOON!!!!!!" all together.. H-U-H-questionmark
7. bring a water bottle cos will get super thirsty after blading (quite slowly) and talking (a lot)
8. when i'm bowling, i must stare at the ball until it reaches the pins so it will actually hit the pins
9. scandals can get very complicated, so must record here the minute there's a new scandal so everyone can keep track ie melvin & peiting the neoprint takers. also, do not meet melvin, kw or colin alone if not the next scandal will be about me
10. yan loves hollister like crazyyyyyyyyy. jac spends $70 shopping everyday. kw buys chocolates for yan everyday.
11. cs guys have an innate tendency to be gay, they're not influenced by the cs girls
12. atlanta has hidden bowling talents that they only decide to showcase now to embarrass the seniors.. char's spin, kw's hook, shuyi the dark horse that pretended to be lousy, and melvin the champion bowler who got twice my score. do not bowl with them anymore.
13. max has giant balls. apparently that's why he's so horny (according to yan)

Sun, sea, sand, scandals???

Yeah man, today started off pretty unhappily. I woke up so early, all eager for another adventure with the great and famous Atlanta, but was the only idiot stupid enough to be punctual. Oh well. Lin Hui ar, you should come next time and pei me to wait, haha.
 
End up, the first people to come were in Elise's car, Yanru, Shuyi, Charlene, and Max. We went to brunch at Mac D's.
 
So, scandal came. Peiting and Melvin were like 1 hour plus late, and darling Max sniffed their presense from a mile away. Sharp nose boy. One for gossip, just like me! Hehe. Wonder what they were doing man... Shuyi suggested they were taking a 32 shot Neoprint...
 
After that, we went cycling/blading, with Max in a basket on Yanru's bike. So nice. Hehe. Unfortunately, once again, I do not have the pictures with me. Yanru will upload later I presume. I only have 2 again. Without Max.
 
We went for ice cream later, and sat there and chat until Max was picked up by Yanru's Dad to go home. Some dogs are so pampered!! Bowling next! Melvin is a pro, I tell ya. So watch out!
 
Finally, dinner at NYDC, where we met up with the infamous Colin. Shuyi and Peiting left to attend to things.
 
Ok, I know details are skimpy, but I very tired and need to wake up early tomorrow. Someone will beef up on the stuffs I presume. So please continue to feel jealous in the mean time...

i'm feeling kinda hyper right now. mawhhaha. had lots of fun today. cycled, ate macs, bowled, talked rubbish. and of course we had yanru's dog for entertainment. my butt like hurts right now. not bcos of the dog of course. its the cycling. like duh. poor melvin got bitten. somehow max aka yanru's dog loved keatwei. maybe that male dog is gay. lolx lolx. i wonder if the dog's world permits such marriages. bowling was fun man. rather rusty. hehe. but we juniors are good eh. lolx.
 
hyper hyper hyper. just came back shopping with my mum. grocery shopping. got stuff for hall. suddenly i'm feeling excited again. maybe its also due to this big box of chocolates i saw in my fridge my mum bought from hongkong. and the stuff she kope from the hotel like toiletries and jams. they do come in handy.wahaha.  hall orientation looks fun. got the cd they posted to us. eh keatwei go la. go beg or something. lolx. sing some songs along orchard road.

ooOh...finally the computer idiot's first post! *duhZ* (seriously it's first one ever!) =P haha bet everyone knows by now tt our picture is in today's LIFE! section! yupz everyone including our friends (even long lost ones), distant relatives blah blah blah...woke up to keat wei's sms which said tt our og pic was in the papers...i thot "yah rite" n went back to slp...then my classmate smsed me saying "hey ure in life! wa tt guy ( ==> colin) hold u v tightly hor!" got such a huge shock i jumped off the bed to see it for myself...haha wonder whether anyone else woke up to ppl smsing u abt seeing ur pretty/handsome face in life!...but its so exciting hehez (first time picture in the papers im allowed to be excited ritez?)...sci atlanta is famous! =) *bounce up n down madly* so kewL! notice its onli our og n not anyone else's =P coz atlanta rulez!~ smile everyone! we're now the poster people for NTU SCI! =)

wah shuz u so fast move into ur hall liao ah.. anywayz i went to collect my hall keys today also tho i'm not planning to move in till next mon.. paying rent for these few days for nothing.. anywayz i'm in hall 7 36-4-685.. wanna come my room help clean up instead? haha.. hey cannot choose room one leh.. yanru bluff me but anyway i think my block not too bad.. at least not facing the main road and it's really juz across the sch.. hahaha.. BUT the bad thing.. the room is really very pok.. the bed looks like it's falling apart and there's wang4 wang4 stickers stuck around loh.. i like the furnishing in hall 3 better.. boo hoo.. then i went to my fren's room in hall 2 also so much better.. new furnishing like those in hall 3 (and they call those chairs designer chairs ok..), wardrobe also much bigger n plus they got shared toilet.. why? why? sigh..

anywayz after lamenting about my room i went to town n drop by yanru's work place.. check on the progress of her supposed pink but now orange fringe.. aiyoh really losing colour by the day.. but dun be too sad lah can always DIY the colour back ah..

thinking of the cleaning i haf to do for my room now i having headache liao.. and i hope the upcoming hall camp would be fun.. now got high expectation for camps liao since cs's camp was so fun! :P

dusty air

moved into hall today. think i overpacked. haha. my fridge is seriously too small to be a fridge. think we'll be getting a bigger one since we'll still be paying 72bucks per sem regardless of the fridge size. had lots of cleaning up to do.dust was flying everywhere. maybe those who have yet done the cleaning up, bring along goggles and an oxygen mask with a tank yeah. lolx. we even fell asleep after the clean up. haha. the room was quite spacious though. but my wall by my bed seriously needs some decorating. no pink ribbon though will be seen in my room though. haha. somehow was slightly disappointed by the toilets. prefer hall3's. hehe.

went to jurong point with my roomie for late lunch and to get some stuff. bumped into keatwei(again. lolx) and cheryl.jellyfish and stanley too. my roomie is from olympia you see. did a little shopping with them tagging along. suddenly i felt this cs warmth, where everyone from cs is just one big family. jellyfish seems very happy with his hall. seems that lots of cs people are there. acc to him there's marcus and kaile's living abv him.stanley was ranting about how he's the only cs freshie in his hall. lets hope he doesnt turn square yeah.

a source mentioned that hall6 is full of scandalous testosterone raging males. all the chest muscles flexing here and there. serious ah?

feel as if i've got lots of stuff to get for my room. haha. realised there are lots of prc scholars in hall6. not sure if its the same for the other halls. do hope there'll be the hall6 spirit or warmth or whatever, then i wont be homesick. haha.

Stuck in Hong Kong

Would hv loved to join u guys for the outing but bobian ... I wan to go abroad with my dad! Long time since I joined him for a travel ... I think he might hv missed me too much, so I keep him company lor ... Hee ... Anyway would anyone be interested in a Johor trip this coming Sunday 18 July .. My fren was asking me if i wan to go with her, and she also asked if my frens wanna come along, so if u guys r interested, perhaps we can go in, for another outing? Do some piracy, buy some DVDs, eat some good food etc .. If u guys wan to go, remember to update ur passports though.. Can be done in a few hours .. But the waiting time is HORRENDOUS!

Well just to update u guys ... been in thailand last sun to tue ... came to HK tue evening and BOY, did I do some ultimate shopping here man! spent more than $800 HK dollars in one night alone ... Aiyo I am becoming a shopaholic liao, like Yanru ... Hahahahah ... Happened to chance upon this comic shop near my hotel so decide to come here to chk some mail and our blog as well ... Chatted with some of u guys online as well ... I must say that without computers I am not quite used to it, so thankfully I found this comic shop that provides Internet access, but damn SLOW lor ... haha ..

Hmm, this shop not bad ... at 9 HK dollars for half an hour, it provides unlimited usage of Internet, playing of comp games, reading of comic books, unlimited supply of drinks (though they only provide Pepsi, soya milk, 1 can of orange and sprite), and last but not least, reading of comic books. However what I have been doing is surfing the WEB... & I must emphasise, it is DAMN slow! LOL ...

Oh yah, fell sick during my 2nd day in Thailand, dunno what happened - kena diarrhoea: i wonder what i hv eaten to cause it ... Sianz ... so my whole day was wasted ... While my parents were eating dinner in this air-con restaurant, i was so cold i had to go to the toilet to sleep ... very CHAM right? haha .. Fortunately i recoovered once i reached HK ...

In Thailand main bulk was sightseeing and I went for Thai trad massage ... Wah Jialat man .. I wonder if it is my body, but i was aching all over after the session ... Din they say it was supposed to relax ur whole body? how come for me diff case? Hai~ must be super unhealthy ...

K i shld stop here .. Very naggy hor? haha ... i need to go to bed liao .. if not fall sick sianz again ...

Adding my bit to the chaos

I put my blog link on the sidebar too...blog's kinda dull so you'll probably have a better time looking at my art, which is linked to my sidebar. Anyhow, last night's outing was awesome! Good food, good company, nice scandalous gossip, loads of pink pink pink! ;P Shucks, I just realized I can't go for Saturday's outing at all, I have a meeting in the morning and I have to to go back to HC in the afternoon for speech day! :( But you guys have a great time...and keep me filled in on all the juicy little nuggets ok? *broad grin* May we have many more outings to come, Atlanta!

Must disappear and have breakfast now, going down to medical centre afterwards. I only hope they won't push me to the back of the queue because I'm not coming on my specified day. But I think it's rather likely. Argh...:S

Atlanta Dinner Outing (Our Very 1ST!!!!!!)

Today is Atlanta's first OG outing, yeah!! We, btw, are the first OG to have outing, so declares Pearlyn merrily! The next fastest one is tomorrow evening. Don't we so RAWKS!!!

Ok, so for those of you who missed it, you better start regretting now, and come for the next outing, which is confirmed this Saturday, but dunno what time yet. Probably morning. As for you guys who are not in Atlanta, you can only cry as read about how much fun the funkiest, greatest, stupendous Atlanta had. Sorry buddy.

So what did we do, what did we do? We went down to this carpark-turned-foodstall place opposite orchard point, occupied lotsa space, and made lots of noise. Food was good, air was cool, er er... Yeah. We were so funky that the old man kept staring at us, wanting so badly to join us, but pretending as if he didn't care. Hmph. When we left, he immediately sat down on our table! Shows how bad he envied us! Muahaha...

Then after that, we went Swenson's. 2 servings of that nude ice cream thing. I dunno what you call it, 5 flavours one, no nuts or anything. Then fries. Then apple crumble. Yum. We were squealing like kids when the waiter poured the syrup for the apple crumble la. It sizzled and popped like a firecracker, so exciting!! Haha. We were so the most happening table there man! Even the waiters were entertained by us and gave us such good service! Heh.

Then after that. We went home. So interesting right? Right, right? You better agree man, or Pearlyn and Daniel will KICK YOUR ASS!!! Heh heh...

Oh yeah, today's attendance. Me, Pearlyn, Jacqueline, Marianne, Elise, Lin Hui, Vivienne, Shu Yi and Charlene. Marianne left early. I don't have the group photos though, so I reckon Pearlyn will upload later.

hey guys.. i'm involved in a upcoming drama production by the Hokien Huay Kuan Youth Drama Troupe.. it's basically a play in mandarin that we write , direct and produce all by ourselves.. the target audience is youth our age so hope u all can give support and go buy tickets.. yeah..

That is the question Ruoqi felt herself asking
when she found her niche in life oddly
dissatisfying. She is lost. She can’t forgive the
past. Does she need to derail or should she just
wait the journey out?

The path of social monorail we find ourselves
traveling on, powerless if we settle for business
class but empowered if we take on the humble
driver's seat.

Inspired by the famous French classic, The Little
Prince, the play, titled Ticket to Cosmorail,
explores the irony of our everyday lives. This is
our debut and largest performance yet at the
Esplanade Theatre Studio. It breaks away from the
style of previous productions by creatively
incorporating music and mime.

Flying Off

Guess what? I am at Changi Airport now, waiting to board the plane to Bangkok. They provide free internet access after u check in ... quite cool eh? on my way in, i even saw 2 sets of x-box .. i din try that though, cos i wanted to post a blog before i fly off .. who knows when i will hv the chance to write within the week i am away ...

Almost late to check in ... haha luckily my dad gave me a morning call, if not they would hv left without me ... So i took a cab down from hall .... $23.10 man ... those staying in the west, advisable to take the train, save $$$ ... wahahahahahahahahaha ...

I just bought a XD-memory card for my fuji digicam ... 128mb, $110 siah ... wah broke man ... but i wanted to go there to take pictures... b4 this i only had 16 mb = 49 pics only ... so bobian hv to spend the $$$ ...

My feelings

Initially I had many doubts about my abilities to take care of ppl I dun know ... So I tell myself to take care of you all as I would take care of myself, and I hope that you all hv been well taken care of ... Being an OGL really gave me a sense of achievement, and it also allowed me to make new friends, intereact with juniors. It was a fulfilling week, all of u hv been great ... Definitely I would like to go out for mini trips or outings with u guys ... Must coordinate .. Sorry for not being able to join u guys for our very 1st outing ... I have to go abroad to accompany my dad cos this hols I haven't been seeing him much bcos of sch and hall activities, so PARDON me man ... Take Care , all of u ... my dear BABIES! I love u guys !
